Adrian went with well known specialist from Oltenia Museum, Arch. Dr. Florin Ridiche, to Girla Milan, near Grindul Pietris Island, on the left bank of the Danube River, where a while ago Dr Florin discovered a cemetery.

It is in the Desa area, at GPS point 43.80533N, 23.05787E. The cemetery or necropolis is a site from the iron and bronze age, with a cemetery found previously by Dr Ridiche. Dr Ridiche and Adrian made a long search on this ancient site, and discovered a lot of artefacts, collected for the Oltenia Museum, but no new tomb was discovered, although a lot of ancient pottery and bricks were strewn around everywhere.
